Cigarette maker names Pepsi exec to board The Business Journal

Vice president and treasurer at PepsiCo since 2001. Winston-Salem-based Reynolds American is the country’s second-largest cigarette maker. Reynolds American Inc. has named a senior PepsiCo executive to its board of directors.Lionell Nowell III, senior vice president and treasurer at Purchase, N.Y.,-based PepsiCo (NYSE: PEP), will join the company’s board immediately and serve on its audit committee.
Nowell, 53, is a certified public account and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University. He has been senior vice president and treasurer at PepsiCo since 2001.
Winston-Salem-based Reynolds American (NYSE: RAI) is the country’s second-largest cigarette maker.
